Labor Day 2022 was a very special day for me because I had an amazing, BRIEF, encounter with the Apex Predator of the ocean. Killer Whales, or Orca, are not seen to often in my area of Avila Beach and Pismo Beach and I have never seen them until then. I managed to capture a couple fun shots and now I have made it a complete mission to search for more killer whales to photograph. More to come soon!
